Dean Shev is the founder of VHT.ai, a Vancouver company building ECHNA, a system that takes a patient’s full health history and turns it into clear, personalized healthcare intelligence. He has shipped it across iOS, Android, and web, which meant working through the parts nobody demos: de-identified data, explicit boundaries around protected health information, and the unglamorous constraints that decide whether a medical tool survives contact with real patients. He is a fixture of Vancouver’s AI community and a past BC + AI community spotlight.
