About Kat Koppett
Kat Koppett is the founder of Koppett, a consultancy that uses improv and storytelling to help people and teams perform, and the founder of the Human Interaction Initiative. She wrote Training to Imagine, the applied improv handbook in use for almost 25 years, and co-wrote The Facilitation Advantage with Therese Miclot. Her clients include Meta, Apple, Prezi, PwC, NASA, Global Giving, and the UN Development Fund. She co-directs and performs with the Mopco Improv Theatre in Schenectady, New York, and created Spontaneous Broadway, a completely improvised musical format that made her one of TheatreWeek Magazine's Unsung Heroes. Her career is practice in what people still owe each other with machines in the mix: listening hard, and building on what the other person hands you.
