About Peter Bittner
Peter Bittner is an AI trainer and consultant who runs an independent practice building AI training and consulting for PR, communications, and news teams. He co-founded The AI Upgrade, which has since wrapped as a brand while the work continues. He helps teams turn generative AI from an abstract mandate into practical skills and working systems. A former multimedia journalist, Peter taught at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism and Advanced Media Institute. He brings newsroom judgment, hands-on teaching, and years of AI adoption work into the same room.
