Zaro has spent more than 15 years building communities around some of gaming’s biggest global franchises. He’ll share what live-service games learned about earning trust and listening at scale, then ask a simple question: as the machines get smarter, what keeps humans in the loop?
About Zaro
Zaro is a Senior Community Strategist at Electronic Arts with more than 15 years of experience building communities around games and products people care about. He created the Community Intelligence framework and has led global communities and developed community and influencer programs across major franchises at 2K Games (NBA 2K, WWE 2K, LEGO 2K Drive) and EA SPORTS (FIFA/EA SPORTS FC). His work spans creator networks, Discord communities, player and design councils, and live-service feedback loops that help teams understand and respond to millions of players worldwide. Community Intelligence asks organizations to stop treating people as audiences to manage and start building communities as living infrastructure: connected, participatory, and capable of shaping what comes next. At Futureproof, Zaro will explore what gaming has already learned the hard way about keeping people connected, heard, and human in increasingly virtual spaces.
