The short version
Treat everyone with respect. Assume good faith. When someone tells you they're uncomfortable, believe them and adjust. If you wouldn't say it to your manager, don't say it here.
Consent and photos
Ask first. Respect no.
- · Do not record private conversations without clear permission from everyone involved.
- · Respect people who step out of a shot or ask not to be tagged.
- · Watch for posted signs and staff directions on no-photo areas once you are in the building.
Accessibility and mobility
Plan around the access facts we have.
- · Email the team early if stairs, distance, seating, sensory load, arrival timing, or mobility support affect your day.
- · We will reply. Count on a specific support only once we have confirmed it in writing.
- · At the venue, ask a festival or venue staff member for help finding your way.
Email kk@bc-ai.ca before you arrive.
