Futureproof Festival of AI is an international AI culture and ideas festival produced by the BC + AI Ecosystem Association and born from Vancouver's grassroots AI community. From October 28–30, 2026, the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre fills with people making AI, questioning it, teaching it, turning it into culture, and living with the consequences. Critique sits beside curiosity. Practical work sits beside film, art, and an honest conversation about what AI is doing to public life.

Make hierarchy visible.
We use responsive relationships, not a rigid spacing chart. Let type, rules, and unequal columns establish the reading order; let the layout stack naturally when the viewport or the reader's text size asks it to.

Let a small orientation line and a large idea occupy different amounts of the field.

Section rhythm
Vertical breathing room between full-width bands. These four carry almost all of it.

- Keep the visible sitewide keyboard ring. Campaign actions deliberately turn it up another notch.
- Pointer
- Hover is feedback, never meaning. Campaign lift runs only for hover-capable fine pointers.
- Touch
- Keep a 44px minimum target. Campaign actions grow to 48px on coarse pointers.
- Pressed
- A one-pixel press is enough. The interface should acknowledge a click, not perform a small musical.
- Reduced motion
- Transitions collapse sitewide; campaign actions also stop hover and active movement.
Do
Use real exported logo assets for all readable marks.
Place Futureproof Festival of AI first and BC + AI as presenter unless the context is organization-first.
Give the dot-matrix mark generous breathing room.
