Brett Gaylor is an interactive media producer and researcher whose work includes Rip! A Remix Manifesto, Do Not Track, and OK Google, projects that earned him a Peabody Award, an IDA award, the Prix Gémeaux, and three Webbys. His 2026 PhD thesis at Simon Fraser University, BrainRot Revolution, builds critical data literacy for the algorithm age.
At Futureproof, Brett brings remix culture, surveillance documentary, and interactive storytelling to the room: a filmmaker who's been culture-jamming the algorithm since before it had a name.
Meet Brett Gaylor and join us in Vancouver from October 28–30, 2026.
