About Peter Bittner
Peter Bittner is an AI trainer and product engineer who has taught more than 500 professionals to use AI in real work and now builds the AI platforms behind newsrooms in nine markets. With Kris Krüg he co-founded The AI Upgrade, an AI education company that ran from 2022 to 2026; every course ended in a capstone you had to ship. He publishes 83 student testimonials in full, four-star ones included. He lectured for eight years in UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, after a career as a multimedia journalist whose work ran on the front page of The New York Times. He has done both jobs: teaching people to use AI, and building what they use.
