Kris Krüg is the founder and festival director of Futureproof and leads BC + AI and the Vancouver AI Meetup. He has spent the last several years building rooms where artists, builders, educators, founders, and skeptics can compare notes on what AI is actually doing to their work and communities.
Futureproof grew out of those rooms. Kris brings the festival's central question into the program: why do humans still need to gather when every answer is a prompt away?
