About Stephanie Dick
Stephanie Dick is an assistant professor in Simon Fraser University's School of Communication and a historian of science whose work focuses on computing, mathematics, and artificial intelligence since the Second World War. Her research examines how ideas about intelligence, proof, knowledge, policing, labour, and automation are built into technical systems and institutions. She is co-editor of Abstractions and Embodiments: New Histories of Computing and Society.
