About Kerris Hougardy
Kerris Hougardy is senior vice president of people at Ting Internet, an HR and people strategy leader who partners with executives to build resilient organizations through change at scale. She has more than 20 years in HR and an MBA from Simon Fraser University. She is especially focused on the future of work: as technology reshapes organizations, she sees HR leaders playing an essential role in working out the relationship between humans and intelligent machines. In BC + AI's Responsible AI Professional certification she built a reskilling tool that scores skills and roles, never people. A self-described “humanist in a technological age,” she brings the view from inside a company rolling AI out to real employees.
