About Toshi Anders Hoo
Toshi Anders Hoo is a futurist, technologist, researcher, and the founder of Possibility Spaces, a design strategy studio that helps organizations work through transformational change. He spent a decade as Senior Research Director at the Institute for the Future in Palo Alto, where he founded the Emerging Media Lab. He also served as a media technology advisor to Ray Kurzweil, co-producing and directing Kurzweil’s documentary The Singularity Is Near. His work has been featured at the United Nations, TED, SXSW, Intel, Google, and the Dubai Future Forum. At IFTF he led a W.K. Kellogg Foundation study of what community-centered AI needs, down to local AI and computing sovereignty, the same ground BC builders are arguing over now.
