About Simon Haworth
Simon Haworth is CEO of Intellomx, a UK drug discovery company that uses its own neural network models to find the drivers of disease in raw gene and protein data. The company starts from what the biology measures and says flatly that it is not an LLM literature-mining engine. It has run target discovery collaborations with Janssen on blood cancers and, in 2025, with Johnson & Johnson on lung cancer. A British entrepreneur now based in Vancouver, Simon has founded or co-founded 19 companies, including the listed investment company IPSO Ventures, and started the BC + AI Life Sciences group. His case for AI in medicine is augmentation: tools that help people do what they could never do before.
