About Kristen Delphos
Kristen Delphos is vice president of communications and public affairs at UL Research Institutes, an independent safety science organization. She builds its relationships with policymakers, regulators, academic partners, and NGOs, and hosts Here's Why, ULRI's podcast on the science behind everyday safety advice. Before that she led global marketing and communications at Dematic and held communications leadership roles at ABB, GE Industrial Solutions, ADT, and UPS. Her working belief is that science needs more storytelling. Her own team of science writers learned to trust AI by building it themselves, which is the question this festival keeps circling: how people who don't trust a tool come to trust it. She has also written a children's book.
