About

About Mayumi Rollings

Mayumi Rollings is co-founder and CEO of Tiny Ghost Studios, where she builds original animated worlds with AI-assisted, human-directed pipelines and a small team with an enormous soul. She has spent the past year deep in production on Blood & Glitter, the studio's original queer fantasy heist series. With Luke Minaker she leads the AI Animation & Filmmaking Accelerator the studio runs with BC + AI. She co-organizes the BC + AI Film Club, where filmmakers try AI in the open, dangers and possibilities both on the table, without hype, panic, or judgement. She is a Japanese-Canadian storyteller who believes the future of creative work gets built by the people willing to ask the questions and have the nuanced conversations.
